KYBs with a 1.75" drop

I have h&r sport springs on my car (1.5" drop in the rear, 1.75" in front) and was thinking about getting KYB AGXs. I know the manufacturer says the shocks aren't recommended for drops over 1.5" but I know someone who runs them on sportlines.
He has only had that set-up for a few months and likes it, but I was wondering about the long term. Anyone have any info on a setup like this? Long term durability on the shocks? Any other suggestions?
I'm looking at Koni yellows (of course), Tokiko Blues or maybe Bilsteins. I just don't want a shock too aggressive for my spring rate. I want something that will perform well with durability. Thanks in advance.

I've used Tokico Blues in my car for a while before I got coilovers and they were great with the H&R Sport springs.

I have Tokico Blue Shocks with my sportline springs and it's just as smooth as the factory setup with better handling. I'd recommend Tokico's! They cost a little more than the KYB's but as everyone says "You get what you pay for when it comes to suspension!"
