I have a 99' intrepid 3.1L. This summer found out the a/c was no longer cold so I put two cans of the recharge stuff in and it got cold for about 3 days. Now is is just cool ont he drivers side and warm ont he passnger side. Could it take more than two cans to refill or do I have a leak somewhere. If leak is this something I can fix myself or must I take it in to the money vacuums to get fixed??
thanks

To find a leak can be difficult. Some common places for leaks are at connectins (such as hoses to condenser) in the condenser from harsh objecys flying into it while driving, the high and low pressure ports (the Schrader valve gets leaky) and the worst plac in the evaporator which usually requres alot of work getting it out from behind the dashboard.
Run the ac and then turn the engine off, and listen for freon hissing out. A soapy water solution around suspected areas can verify if there is a leak. It will give little bubbles.
Good luck
