Didn't I already tell you how??? write this down...on my car I used my stock bracket and used a pocket from a 1997 Nissan Pathfiner....try that..worked for me...got lucky because our headunits harness fits on to my moms pathfinder so she got a new double-din and I have a single-din but Alpine now...

I tried it I still had a gap around the radio, maybe its just the kenwood excelon deck that I put in.
I used the original brackets wich were a pain to get off the OE radio, then I bought a universal pocket.
The Pocket looks great but I have a small gap around the radio on the top.
That is why I was wondering if the was a specific Kit for the G20.

OIC....hmmm...did the kenwood come with a frame??? My frame for the face was too big so I had to shave the ends to fit....but before it used to look like the face was sticking out but that was only cuz I had no face on it...now I do...looks alot better.

I used a dremel and slowly shaved off while measure onto the unit to see how much more to do...it worked for me...just try to shave in an angle which you can't see any damage from the front of the face...try to shave evenly...that is the key...

Ok people so here is a rundown of what I have learned to install a single din Radio in a doulbe din slot!
1._ First remonve the entire panel that houses the radio the air controlls, 2 screw's on the bottom neear the shifter( if you put your head near the shifter look up at the radio you will see 2 scew's)
2._Steadly pry off trim plate that house the above components be gentle when pulling near the top there are some inserts that hold it in place give it a gentle tug, towards you!
3._Disconnect all accesories there are small tabs on the wiring conectors they will be very stif so use a small screw driver to press the tabs & at the sam time pull away from you slowly.
4._Unscrew radio, 4screws. Unplug radio wiring harnesses from rear!
5._Brackets are held on to the radio by 8 screws (4 on either side). These dame screws are held in by I belive welds, can't really see the back of them so this is what I did: "I used my dremel/drill put a very small bit on it & drilled the center of them out increasing my size of bit until the screw just gave". I tried just about every thing to get these bastards out that was the easiest way.
Things u must buy b4 installing new single din "Deck".
