h22a or h22a1 need help

sup guys
this is my first post in this tech fourm and i think i'm in the right place;)
what i need to know is i'm lookin 2 do a h22a1 swap i belive this is a usdm 97-98 lude motor, ( correct me if i'm wrong please ),but i have been reading about just a plain h22a..what is the difference between these 2 motors, which would be easier and cheeper to install?

also, this swap is for my 99hx i know i need a new ecu and axle's, but am i missing anything else?
any direction to a site that could show me a check list of things needed is greatly appricatied..i know that searchung around will yield me an awenser but i've been searching so much i'm really just overloaded/confused about alot of things:bloated:

anyone with a good link please help!

for your application i think you would need an h22a4. its the newer prelude motors,97+. the h22a1 is the older year, 93-96, and the h22a is the jdm version. to swap into hx, you would need new wiring harness, mounts, ecu, axles etc. i think you should look for a complete swap rather than buying piece by piece, save some money maybe. try hondamotorsonline.com, they have h22a complete swaps for about 2400 last time i looked. good luck
