3000GT Base Fog Lights

I just bought a '94 3000GT on Saturday and I was wondering if the fog lights on the car are for show or are actually suppose to work. Because if they are suppose to work I can't get them to.

They turn on when the moon rays hit the Solenoid inside the lights

So do i just leave the button pushed in and when i drive at night they will turn on by themselves?

Leave the button on and they come on when your low beams are on.

i just went outside and tried it with the lights on and the button pressed in and nothing happens the lights dont come on

then check the fuses, relays, light bulbs, and wiring. If they are not coming on, then something is wrong.

Could someone show a picture of where the wires need to lead from the lights them selves to help me out since im a 17 year old and i dont know that much about this car yet.

try finding somebody who knows a little something about lights, wiring, etc to help you out since u dont really know much.....my fogs didnt work either it was the bulbs but it can be many things so u have to check fuses, bulbs, wiring as already mentioned..good luck!

start with the easiest things first. Check the fuse, should take 30 seconds to see if thats the problem. Next check the bulbs. Chances are good its one of those 2 things.

I have the fuse in, how do i know if the fuse still works. And i cant get to the bulbs idk where to start with that?

to check the fuse u can just look at it but u should check it with a voltmeter or tester light or something.....the bulbs u have to take apart the whole fog light its not hard just couple screws to take off the fog then couple more to take off the bracket, just go out there and take it apart its easy
