Alright heres the deal. I have a 94 with a straight 6. It has an automatic 3 speed with a puch button overdrive. This tranny went out on me and I'de like to go with a tested and trusted C6 tranny but I dont know if my truck will even start with it cause of the electronics. If all it does is make my check engine light come on all the time then I'm fine with it but I really cant afford the grand to fix the one that I got but I can afford to get me another one. So long as the thing will bolt up, run, and switch gears. Thats all I care about. And if someone has another route that i can take I'm listenin.

C6 won't work. You'll need to have that trans. repaired.
Check around and even talk to a trans. mechanic ( when the boss isn't around) and see if he does "side jobs" to save a couple bucks.
I have a couple guys in the Detroit area that are great trans. guys.
