battery light coming on

Hi, everyone.
I have a problem with my battery light coming on. Here is how it all started, I was out of town for a bit and when I came home the battery was dead. I went and bought a new battery. Problem solved so I thought, I drove car for a few weeks and the battery light came on. So I thought it was the alternator, went and bought a new one, problem solved agian so I thought. The battery light went off for about 2 weeks after alternator replacement but it just came back on. I thought it might have been the tensioner replaced that today to no avail. The light stays on. I dont know what else it could be any help would be appreciated. I own all gm products and this is the first one to stump me. Again any and all help is greatly appreciated.

have you taken alt. back see if you might have got a bad one?? thats what i'd do..good luck....
