How much can I lower my 97 GSR on 17's?

i wouldn't go any lower than 3 inches..
it also depends on the tires you have.. what size are they...
but from 15-17 wheels, and assuming the tires are say 35
then you'd wanna drop it about 3 inches.. or if you really feel the need.. you could bend your fender walls in .. and go 1/2 inch more.. but any lower and you'll be losing parts..
