2000 Z-71 air condition odor

I was told there is a filter in the system and it is changable. I looked in back of the glove box and saw nothing, but I'm not sure of what I'm looking for.

Its called a cabin air filter... If your sitting in your passanger seat its that "hump" below the glove box... you can actually touch it with your foot, if you have front buckets is next to the middle console... I believe its 3 9mm bolts and it drops that cover, and the 2 filters sit vertical...
