Power Steering Line

So I just bought a 3000GT Saturday, and there was a tiny power steering leak. Every time I drove it I needed to add a little power steering fluid. Today I got up and put the car up to find the leak, it was tiny but fluid always leaked at a constant rate. I talked with my neighbor and what he thought. Then we cut out the bad line and replaced it with a rubber line and clamped the ends, we let it sit and it had only one drop out over a half hour time (much better than before).
Then I started the car and backed it up and felt that there was no power steering so I added some more thinking there was just not enough in it since it went totally dry while replacing. Still no steering so I looked under the car and found this.

What should I do now to fix this, or does anyone know exactly why this happened. Bare in mind that I am only a 17 year old.

Yeah, can't just rubber hose fix these, lots of pressure. Where's the leak exactly? if there's metal line before and after you can compression fit new metal line in.

the power steering is a high pressure hydraulic system like your brakes. Your gonna need something more substantial than your normal, run of the mill vac line hose.

dont know what your budget is, but if you have the money i would replace it with a new one, OEM will be expensive if its a high pressure, but NAPA, if theres one near you, makes their own to near OEM specs for way less. Its an important system and if you run it dry it can be dangerous and casue expensive damage.

if your handy though, like twizted said, you can probably come up with something. Maybe braided steel brake line? idk.

After talking with my Uncle we found out that the guy at the store gave me a fuel line, not a power steering line that could handle the pressure.
