I hope that I write that down correct :sun:
Today I had a chance to test my civic for very low cost on dynamometer and here are the resaults, what do you think is that good or is that everyday thing at your place...
My civic had originaly 130HP a ZC engine
Changes on the engine:
-header
-full exhaust system
-new ECU
-K&N cold air intake
Here is the diagram:
http://images.cardomain.com/installs/198000-198999/198888_68_full.jpg
MAX POWER: 162.8/6368
MAX TORQUE: 14.3/5816
This is it for this engine, now I'm preaparing my self for project CRVTEC:devil:
I'll try to realize that project till the end of next year I hope I'll get 270HP at least from that engine without Nitrous or supercharger or turbocharger

Not bad at all for a DOHC ZC! That's awesome. 162 at the wheels is really good!

Thats good man!
Once i get some more performance done i'm thinking about hittin up the dyno.
1 run here in calgary is like $60 canadian.. a little steep if you ask me.

Hmmm....27% loss through the drivetrain...something sounds a little off because that is a huge loss. The only thing I can think of is that the total hp at the crank is not correct. Anyway the wheel horsepower figures are good for a mild bolt on ZC. Nice job emil.:)

27% loss is about right based on what a lot of cars were getting on our dyno day.
Really nice figures Emil - well done!
Kris - I challenged Emil on figures a while back and ended up looking like a dickhead when he proved me well and truly wrong. I won't pull that stunt again in a hurry without proof - just a word to the wise ;)
Don't forget that dynos are a tuning tool and that no two will ever read the same. Even so, they are usually within a few kilowatts of each other.
But knowing Emil - those figures are pretty damn close :)

I'm almoust 100% sure that the total hp on crank is right one, cause than they tested a BMW 523 that has 192HP in catalog and is a original one no mods done to it and when they tested on dynamometer it had 193HP so that is why I'm sure that the totaly hp is correct one I can get you the test from that BMW to :silly2:

It's O.K. setanta that is already forgoten, I don't blame you I wouldn't belive either if someone would told me that he has max in fourth gear 210km/h, some guys in here didn't belive me either then I showed them (drive them) and you could see how  :eek2: and then they didn't say a word after that :D :D :D
A little of the debate that is goin' in here:
I must say that that is the best forum for 4th gen. civic owners I LIKE IT , when I don't know something I just post qustion topic and prety soon I get the answer, cause you guys & girls have done everything on your cars, lucky you
