Detonation on a 2004 Elantra

Anyone have spark knock problems with their 2004 Elantra? I've taken it to two different dealers. None of the mechanics can find anything wrong. I tried a set of colder plugs to see if that helped, but no luck. I read a TSB once stating that if you didn't use a genuine Hyundai oil filter, you could get a knocking sound due to pressure differences with aftermarket oil filters.

I have a 2002 Elantra doing the same thing...rattling at the top end, sounds like valves rattling. I also was told about the oil filter thing and am going to try a Hyundai filter this weekend to see if it straightens it out.

Let me know if the oil filter thing works.
