From me a RB20 front clip is $2,500 and a RB25 front clip is $3,500
The rest of the parts will cost around $600. ie,motor mounts, oil pan, manual

Very cool swap. I am in Seattle. Let me know if you have other questions.

You can contact me at robb@new-by-robb.com

go to venus-auto.com

they got the rb20det clip for $1000, rb25det for $1,800 for clips...about $500 for shipping...

if you get the rb20det clip, you dont need mounts, just use the cross member from the rb20det...if you have a HICAS rb20det then you will need a rb25det power steering pump...you will need a new radiator, a 81-93 200sx 3 core radiator should do the trick...its cheap too...and as for the rb20det only, you can use the 3.0 maxima ACT clutch or the silvia sr20det clutch...

you will either have to get a top to bottom flow intercooler for use with the stock intake plenum or wait a month or so and hopefully unstable-hybrids comes out with a cheaper intake plenum and so you can use a side to side flow...

you can send your wires to some place to get it redone...ask snakeeyes39 for this info...or call jpnz.com and order their workshop manual for the R32 which includes the rb20det or wait a few more months till the R33 is out for the rb25det...

dont even waste your time with the rb26dett cus if you do this, you gotta get the rb25det tranny anyways...and unless you got parents thats doctors, then dont even think about it...and for installation, why pay someone else to do it when you should do it yourself....and ask for help when you need it...you'll feel alot better about it then leaving it for a shop and you then dont even know anything about your own car...

just to add on, u could fit a GT-R clutch on the RB20, that's what i did.

i had a place say they'd do the install for $3000 after i'd provide the engine, ecu, wiring harness, tranny, and everything else, it's that much just for labor.

i planned on doing the swap myself anyways, like dohc said, u'll feel alot better about it. but then again, if u're new at swapping engines and u don't really like to refabricate anything, i don't think the RB series is for u. i thought the swap would be a piece of cake, it's not overwhelmingly hard, but i'll tell u it ain't easy for shyt.

if u're tired of hearing SR this and SR that, why not go with a CA, even though it's only a 1.8 litre, it can still push. i've got some friends back in japan with CA's that push close to 350 to 400hp average, there are a few cases where someone had them up to around 600, but i haven't seen those ones myself. i was gonna get a CA, but when u hear the difference of having a 6 cylinders compared to 4, it's just beautiful

$8000 for Swap + taxes + additional parts is what mckinney motorsports quoted me. About $4000 for a low milage RB25DET - labor.
