do you how disconcerting it is to be woken up at 4am and go into your bathroom to see water pouring out through the light fixture?

I hate my fucking jack-hole neighbors. living on the bottom sucks. don't ever take the bottom apartment. :mad:

The ass master upstairs left his tub on and overflowed it. he probably has a wet floor. my carpets are ruined, and who knows what's going on in the walls....

Then when apartment maintenace went up to ask him what the hell he was doing, despite the fact his tub was full of standing water, he said he didn't do it...

Sorry to hear about that, Jay. The guy should atleast admit that he did it, and offer to pay for some of the damages or something.

Always get a top-floor apartment. When you're top level, you never hear the neighbors walking around upstairs and all that... Plus, if anybodys pipes freeze (or the're retarded and forget they left the water running), it has no effect on you.

I know how you feel. Just this past weekend my apartment got water damage from the unit above me. The water damage was so bad that it also affected two floors below me.

But after management took a look at things, they discovered that it was due to corroded pipes. So the management had to pay for a plumber to come in a replace pipes and for someone to come in a shampoo my carpet.

your neighbour is a dipshit. Move to a smarter neighbourhood. But don't get an apartment in Auckland,chances are it's so badly built that you will get more water coming through the roof.

we had it happen before

neighbors put acid down their pipes *meth lab or something* and so it would pump up all kinds of black shit from the tub and toilt...it was bad
