Tranny filter? 2000 Escape.

Tranny filter is way overdue ... if there is one???

Can anyone tell me if a tranny filter exists, and where is it???? .... as this transmission does not seem to have the ordinary belly pan.
????

there is a filter but requires trans to be torn down to replace - it is not a main. item - just change the fluid and you will be fine.
