Hey I have a 2003 Cavalier and want to rid higher. I see lift kits on trucks so obviously they can be put on cars, but I dont know where to start. I'd rather buy the all the parts and tires first then get it installed. What are some good brands, and how high should i go without feeling every bump in the road. (i'm thinking 16-20'')?

There are no kits for a cavalier.
You'll either have to custom make it or get someone to make it for you.
But, on a more personal note...dear god, don't...

That is some down right BS advice right there. What would the world be like if no one tried anything new and different. Im sure the first guy to ever say Im going to cut these springs and lower my car had people that thought it was dumb and now who is laughing.

Well, that's why I said "personal note," not "professional advice."
I think its a silly idea. But if it floats their boat...
For the record, if you cut your springs, you're also silly.
