Another Honduh Guy

Well, I normally don't post things like this, but I had a humorous run-in with a guy last night. I was at the bar with about 10 friends and some other people I didn't know. While talking to my friend about my current clutch problem. Another guy that I didn't know was asking what kind of car I have, power, mods, etc. So I tell him and he starts talking to me about his Honduh Civic that he "used to have". Oh, great, here we go.

Apparently the car was "All Motor" and pushing 395WHP. :grinyes:

Oh, well, maybe there is something I don't know about the power you can get out of a 1.6L stock motor, but I thought I would ask. This is where it gets even more interesting. He was pushing all this power with 18 lb injectors. I quickly did a rough calcuation in my head and said, "aren't they like 190cc injectors". He turned and said, yeah those things were huge. :disappoin I didn't have the heart to tell him I was running 650's.

At that point I really wanted to get out my phone and start recording a video of the conversation so I could post his lack of intelligence for all the world to admire, but I thought it might be rude. Then it get's even better. He starts telling me about his AEM fuel rail and that he hacked the end and stuck an extra injector in there. Uh, ok, whatever dude. Apparently his "friends" at the dealership knew stuff about the Civic's that no one else knew. Yeah right, I can't even get the dealership to change my oil properly.

So then we start talking about tuning. :uhoh: I asked him how he controlled his "huge" injectors. His response was that they just made adjustments to the fuel rail by looking at a simulated dyno. Huh? What the hell is a simulated dyno, I ask. Apparently, there is a secret code you can punch into the Civic ECU that "unlocks" some special power section. Then you can drive the car and the ECU will provide you with your WHP numbers. Now, that has to be the dumbest thing I have ever freakin' heard.

Next up is the blah, blah, blah vx-27856-aj4fr spark injector. What the f*ck is a spark injector. Is that like cross drilled brake lines or something? It sparked 50,000 times every second and gave you 15 WHP. Then he tells me that should be my next upgrade on the Spyder, because I'll get about 35 WHP since I'm boosted. Um, Ok, I'll get right on that. Let's skip the Methanol injection that's next on my list and go with the spark injector. :shakehead

Let's not even talk about the Mustang GT he has now. He want's to get a twin turbo kit for $1k off ebay that will give him 1000WHP. At this point, I figured I wasn't even going to "go there". So I decided to work my way up to the bar for another Stooner of Franziskahner.

Haha what a dope. From what I understand anyways honda's most powerful v0tec motor is like a 2.4 or 2.3 and only pushes 235 Hp and thats highly tuned from Honda as it is. If he's pushing over 300 HP from a 1.6 litre all motor, i'd suck my own cawk.

Spark injectors eh ? nice nice..always could use a couple more of those for my spoilers g-forces. Oh , and 50,000 sparks per second always need to have that for hi-performance turn signals that will blind you and send you into seizures with rapid flashes beyond comprehension O.o or did he mean 50,000 volt output coil ? lols.

I love talkin' to tools like that... I was talking with this one guy who was "the fastest" in Wilson... he had a probe GT... I showed him up in my Stealth awhile back... but he had done "stuff" to it since then... and he woulda raced me, but he let someone drift it around the parking lot and they wrecked it...

lol, so he started talking shit a/b how the 1G looked and idled...
I said I was running to the store to get some cigarettes, asked if he wanted to ride... he was like yeah, sure...

He got in and kept staring at the gauges and AFC... started asking what I had done to it, and what it would run... I was like not much...

I lightly took off to begin with... then he started talking shit... I nailed the gas, by 10psi he was holding on and talking a/b how fast it was, I was like that ain't shit... I briefly hit 15psi and backed down (main street, lots 'o cops). He was shaking when he got out of the car, offered to buy it, $5k...

He didn't have any money... lol... dumbasses, we need them... they make us laugh

this one time at work somebody with an rsx-s asked to race me and when I absolutely demolished him (about 5 cars by the end of second gear) he told me as soon as he puts his supercharger on he's gonna kill me..... I told him you know you just can't throw a supercharger on and expect to be going any faster theres a lot of shit you gotta change..... No apparently there isn't cause a supercharger is a bolt on mod.

I know a guy thats got a V8 porsche like the one in risky business. With the turbo sticker, just missing the turbo. Pop the hood and hes got Ram Air going to the filter on one side. Then on the other Ram Air hose hes got a cone filter, going on up to the main filter. I said isnt that just restricting ur air flow with two filters? I was told that since it has 250 hp (im sure its engine hp) that he isnt worried about losing a few HP, and that hes never lost a race, so it really didnt make much of a difference. I do find conversing with them amusing. Im not the smartest guy in the world, but they make me feel like a genious. By the way, that extra injector on the fuel rail is going to be my next mod.

I wish people like that would keep their fucking mouth shut and stop ruining it for the Honda crowd. If done right those cars can be fast, but it's asshats like that guy that give them all a bad rep. I mean atleast if your going to BS somebody, make it realistic and stop making up radical mods that nobody has heard of.

LOL!!! What a gem! This whole thread kicks ass! I read it earlier but I missed the part about the Porshe and I needed to post up after that. I dont have a story of the calibur of those, those are great.

God do I love the silly honda guys who put a goddamn parkbench on their trunk and a weedwacker on their exhaust. It just makes my day so much better. One of these days I think I'm just gonna steal a real parkbench and weld it on a POS car. I think I'll see amazing HP gains. maybe like 50-75 if i do it right :rofl::rofl:

I still don't understand why you guys never call people out on shit like this? This used to happen to me tons, but I'm just plain mean to people when they are idiots about cars.

i try not to make anyone look like an idiot. i learned that after a fight i got into telling some guy he didn't know shit. he leaned in a little too far over me when i was sitting down and as i stood up i took a handfull of his chin with me. his GF pulled me off of him and then he sucker punched me in the ear [fucking ow!] with his GF in between us. i grabbed him by the ear and led him out of my house. i was trying to rip his ear off due to the pain in my ear but he kept going in the direction i was pulling. i guess he really thought the thing may come off. it's funny now, but i was really trying to pull his fucking ear off! i used to be a sic fuck. tangent. sorry. moral: there are only a couple reasons to fight, and cars is not on that list. i have lost 3 firends to careless fighting when some asshole pulls a knife. you never know.

i'll just bring up a technical question and let the morons get sucked in. like exhaust gas velocity and back pressure. or octane stuff. really basic stuff that know-it-alls get all fucked up over. just enough rope to hang themselves is fair enough for me.

Yea the honda piece of shit rice fags do ruin it for everybody. A few weeks ago a honda drove by me and a bunch of other nice cars and sounded ridiculous. A guy that was walking by then turned to us and started talking shit about how our cars are shit and how back in his day, the "600 hp gm's" would kick all our asses and a bunch of other shit. Well my one friend turned and told him to shut the fuck up old man and then it all started. Pretty crazy fights he brought back 4 big black guys so it kinds sucked...
