I was told that a supercharger on my VTEC integra what get better gas mileage than a turbo, is this true? In my view an import is better suited with a turbo, rather than a supercharger. Do both give about the same amount of power? I understand that when you buy a turbo you pretty much have to get an intercooler, wastegate, maybe a turbo timer. ect. Do you have to get any accessories like this with a supercharger?

going turbo will be more expensive then a supercharger. you have more potential to make more power with a turbo. gas milege just depends on how hard you drive the car around. i would go turbo. just make sure you have a good turbo kit put together.:smoker2:

Not entirely true....alot of supercharger systems cost just as much as turbo kits and almost always more than just the turbocharger on its own, not including intercooler, boost control, and the lot.
Nonetheless, both won't help your fuel mileage but a turbo is probably going to get more power for you, but be sure to take care of your engine, don't run too high boost until the rest of your system can catch up (Head gasket, fuel, etc) and buy a controller for sure, if you ever want to sell your car.
