electrical

i have an 01 s 10 pickup, recently the tail lights stay lite even when the vehicle is off and the key removed, i kno the lights are on a timer but they just saty on till the batt dies. i know its not the brake light swith because the third brake light works as it should. i dont kno... nay help any suggestions? thanks 4 any help

Two things - the brake lights are the same circuit as the hazard flashers so pull that can (think behind glove box - Blazers are) and see if thats it. Or the actual hazard switch may be bad - they put excess grease on them and had problems - the 00-01 Blazers had a recall so call the dealer with your VIN and ask them to check.
