Hi, I am going to Japan in just over a year to teach english. Since I will have a big wad of cash burning a whole in my pocket, I am looking to pick up a (94-96) Skyline R33 GTS-T and hopefully bring it back to Canada. Shipping may be an issue but I have a connection that ships stuff from Osaka to Vancouver all the time and seems to have extra space in his containers all the time and I don't think that he would mind getting some coin for filling empty space. However if that doesn't go through (like if my friend goes bankrupt), how much would that cost? or how do I go about finding this info out?
What type of mods do I have to do to the car before it can be road worthy in Canada?
What type of papers do I need to produce in order to register the car in Canada? (like crash test info...)
Does anybody know of any websites about Canadians that have successfully imported skylines?
Any info would help b/c it is kind of a toss up right now of whether I pick up a skyline or drop a k20c or k20a into my 2k1 civic.
