a few months ago i replaced the head gaskets on my car and had a overheating problem afterwards.it turned out to be a faulty sensor.i haven driven the car in a while but the other day i was driving it and it overheated.ive replaced the water pump and the thermostat already.does anyone have any ideas on whats up with this thing?any ideas would help alot.

are you sure you don't have [another] leak somewhere causing it to lose coolant? do you have the proper mixture of coolant?(not just water). Only reason I ask is because I have a friend who thinks he can just keep adding water...at some point he has to use coolant or it'll just be water in there. Also, are both cooling fans working correctly?

by over-heated, do you mean the guage went high but the car seemed to still run normal, or the engine actually started ticking/smoking/steaming/shut down due to getting too hot? There's a BIG difference.
