auto dimming rear view mirror

Has anyone changed the plain stock rear view mirror on a 2005 Dodge Caravan with one that has auto dimming, temperature and compass? Is there any wiring required, or is it built in on the SE models? Thanks!

For what its worth, I had an auto dimming mirror on a 05 Impala. Hated it, when it dimmed never was as dim as a manual dimming mirror. Rarely dimmed as quickly as needed. If the temp and compass is needed, maybe it would be worthwhile. If some dufuss comes up behind me in a behemoth SUV, with bright lights shining in the back window, give me my manual dimming mirror.
