Help

Ok.. I recently had a really bad leak of power steering fluid. coming from the steering rack. and I got a seal kit for it.. but my one issue is that I can figure out how to pull the rack to get to it.. I got the boot off and it was full of power stearing fluid. 2 things. one is there suppose to be powerstearing fluid in there and second how do you pull the rack out. If anyone has pulled please give me some good advice.. All the manuals that I have found like Chelton dont tell you crap.. thank guys
