Check Light Engine On...... Code P0341 " Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Ragel Reformance" What Does This Mean....... Please Help...

I have that same ODB code that came up on my Jetta as well, did you change the timing belt recently on that car? If so make sure that your timing marks on both the bottom pulley and the top pulley line up together. Mine are lined up and still having that same problem cant seem to figure out what the problem is.

If all your marks are ligned up, and your SURE they're ligned up then the issue is Distributor failure.
You only need to be like a 2mm off ignition timing to set that code off though.

Yeah the marks are perfect, i have triple checked them. The distributor still works the car fire and everything, do you think that the sensor in the distributor is failing and can i just replace that sensor or does the whole thing need to be replaced

yea, the sensor is in the distributor.
Believe me, you'd have to be VERY talented to be able to dissasemble the distributor and change out just the sensor.
just buy a new one.

Just one after thought before spending the money to get a new distributor, could the gapage of the spark plugs play into effect. since this code has to do with range and performance and the car runs great idiling and and under load. if the gape was wrong and firing was not firing all the way could that possibily throw off that sensor
