car - 1994 Ford Mustang GT
Problem - Constant flickering of dome light is draining my battery.
Observation - When I'm driving the car I have no problems that I can notice as far as electronics malfunction goes. When I turn off my car everything works fine also, or so it seems. When I go inside lets say for a few hours and return to my car to go somewhere, the battery is just about dead. When I stick my key in the ignition i get no turnover or chug, but then my dome light starts to flicker completely on and completely off almost 2 times in 1 second and it continues on.
When sitting in the drivers seat the sound of whatever device controlling the dome lights comes from the back right side of the car, it even sounds like it is coming from the trunk. I can hear a clicking that is in sync with the fluttering of the lights going on and off.
This is a huge problem because I have to keep jumping my car to go anywhere and I am not as dependable as my work needs me to be. What do you all think may be the problem?

Take the light buld out and go from there. What controls the dome light is a little peg cominh out from your from door jam. Whenever it is pressed in, it closes the circuit and when you open your door, the little tabe is depressed and it activates the circuit. You may just need to replace it. But for the meantime, just take out your dome light bulb and see if that helps. Simple fix.
