So now I need to know what you guys think this car is worth/will go for... I am thinking somewhere around 5k or less hopefully?

BTW, getting it repainted will not be a problem for me.

This car gives me woooooood!!!! :icon16:

With 144k on it I would say 3 or 4 at the most. If you have a chance check the engine real good.

Good, if its a repo I bet they abused it if they knew it was getting repo'ed

Doesn't matter to me. I have my other Firebird as the daily driver and the Talon will soon be on the road too. This thing can go right into the shop as my next project then! I think I smell a built LS1 coming... :grinyes:

well seeing as how all the damage is in one place, it's probably been wrecked really bad. But hell, at 3-4k, just the engine and tranny alone are probably worth that much. The rest of it looks pretty clean though, sounds like a good deal.

Gaaaaah! My parents are being absolutely retarded about this. They don't want me having a 3rd car since I run through their insurance. Also the fact that its not gonna be good on gas and blah blah blah... This is the only moment when I wish I actually had no other cars... :(

So get your own insurance, especially if you won't be driving it that much when its not in pieces in your garage.

And the LS1 is as good or better on gas than your firebird, so don't worry about that.

Then get it. If you pay cash and its sitting in storage you don't need to worry about insurance right away...

yeah, put er in storage..and get rid of one of the cars.. if your parents will let. it looks like its a salvage title firebird, that means itll prolly go for a lot less price @ auction and since its ''worth less'' the insurance may go down.

I'm with Ikey on this, get rid of one of your current vehicles and make room for this one. It has a shit-load of potential to be B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L and one hell of a ride. But with 144K on the clock, I smell a rebuild and some SFC for those old T-tops.
