1995 Chevy Cheyenne Dash Lights don't work

My son replaced the original radio with a new JVC and I noticed last night when I drove it that he had no dash lights. The head lights work and inside dome lights but not the dash. I checked the fuse and it is okay. I noticed he had some extra wires left on the radio that were not connected. Does anyone one what wires / color code that goes to the dash lights and where to hook them up to?
