Starting Problems in a 90 PA

Alright, just recently I replaced the camshaft sensor and spark plugs. When I try to start the car it just turns over again and again. The problem is, its not getting any fire. the battery has juice and the starter is fine. Now when i got a diagnostics test about 2 weeks prior it said that a camshaft censor was the problem so I fixed it. The same error is present, which leads me to believe the camshaft is the problem. Any input, along with a price range to fix it would run me. Thanks!

I've also looked into the camshaft magnet. Along with a timing set, i'm more prone to try the magnet thing though. If anyone would have any removal instructions or further links into replacing it alon with the shop.

Cam sensor will not prevent the car from starting it just causes extended cranking. If no spark either the crank sensor is bad the wiring to the icm or the icm itself. A scanner will let you see if there is cranking rpms, if none it is either part or wiring just mentioned.

is it possible that something as simple has a fuel filter could be the problem. it's turning over..it's just not actually starting. Like it's not getting enough gas to go.

Fuel filter will not fix a "no fire" problem, however, if the filter needs to be replaced, go ahead! You need to follow the advice already given by Maxwedge.:sunglasse
