hey guys,
i started wiring my 99 malibu for a subwoofer yesterday. i am hiding all of the wires so i took off the back seat so i could run the wire under the seat and into the trunk. i got the back of the seat back on, but i cant figure out how to get the bottom of the seat on. it has two little black plastic clips. i cant figure out how they attack the seat to the car. if someone could explain that would be awesome. If you can find a website that shows how or if you could take a picture of yours, that would be even better.
thanks for any help

some gm seats have to be pushed backwards toward the trunk real hard and then down at the same time to lock in place.
I've never taken seats out of a Malibu.
If ur good u dont need to take the seats out anyway unless ur trying to run straight up the middle.
Didnt u already take the seat out? If so, its the reverse to put it back.
If not, then u dont need to.

I know they are a pain to put back All I can tell you is that the two black clips Should have the point pointing down they grab from the seat and they clip and the body of the malibu to see if the clip you should hear a snap which means you have install it correct.
