Removal of 97 Radiator Drain Petcock?

I found it but I cant get it to budge and dont want to break it! Do I turn clockwise or CCW? Do I need to push in or pull out while turning it?

I read somewhere that you only have to turn it half a turn and it will come out, is that correct?

Clockwise!??? As in tightening! That makes a whole lot of sense! (eyesrolling). Really?

Or did you mean facing the front of the vehicle looking at the grill (meaning it would actually be a CCW turn when under the vehicle?)?
