stuck in 2nd gear

hi i have a 95 fto with triptronic gear box and is stuck in second gear but i can get reverse ive herd it is in limp mode because i took the battery off and it needs to be reset how do u do it or is it somethink else wrong with it can anybody help me plz

Should be ok to just re-connect. Red wire first. The ECU will have to learn your driving style again. But stuck in 2nd? It usually goes fail-safe in 3rd.....weird....:runaround:

i have the same problem with my 95 mivec fto. its stuck in second, but can get reverse ok. iv changed the ecu,s the relay the fuse and the input and output speed sensors. but still no joy. can anybody help
