Has anyone obtained a fix for the missing coat hook in the G35 sedan which I understand has been corrected in the 2003.5?

Yes, I got the fix. It's called a hanger.

I have the 2003.5 version and it does have a hook for your jackets/shirts on the rear passanger side. It is attached into the handle on the ceiling. Looks like a piece you may be able to get through the dealer. Dunno on that one.
