Well guys here is my problem i have a 04 sti and my clutch is going to need to be change pretty soon. I went to the dealer ship and they want to charge me 1284 almost 1300 hundred for clutch and installation now maybe its just me or does this sound kind of pricey. Is there anyother option i can take besides going to the dealer, what you guys think of ACT and Exedy clutch are they too pricey.
i already started so instead of beating around the bush let me get on with it i have some money to spare into upgrades for a daily driver with that extrat spice and maybe some track ohh and my Girlfriend drives it too so that has top be put into consideration she's a pretty good driver and does track with me so no offense to the ladies out there. i was thinking on going with suspension first then we can discuss on the other things, what you guys think of these brands Cusco, tein. any other suggestion will be greatly needed.

$1300 IS pricey considering it will most likely be an oem clutch right? I would consider ACT or Exedy like you mentioned, just get an upgraded one and if you have the knowledge, do it yourself

Go to a shop that specialises in imports and ask if they can put the clutch of your preference in there.
