99 Silverado fuel tank capacity

Can anyone tell me what my fuel tank capacity is? My truck did not come with an owners manual when I bought it.

is it a long bed or short bed and is a hd 1500 2500

i think mine is like a 26 or 28 gallon

The most I have put in it at fill up is about 24 gallons. I am sure I had a good bit left in the tank though.

i dont know but a guess i would say it is about 28-30 on these trucks maybe someone knows exactly and they can chime in and let us know.
