Daytime running lights

Is there a way to turn off the day-time running lights on the truck the manual tell me to puch the dome override button 4 times within 6 sec. but it dosent work any sug????

The daytime running lights cannot be disabled. The manual is telling you how to turn off the headlights if they come on automatically and you don't want them on (example: in the garage).
