i know you guys have heard of them, anyone know if they give a noticeable increase in acceleration power, anything?? btw v6 3.4 camaro

i have the same car. I want to try them out also. from what i've heard they do increase hp n tourque. not much but they do. but the down factor is that if they are larger or smaller sized pulleys it's going to effect w/e that pulley is running. e.g. u get a pulley for ur a/c unit; ur ac isnt going to be as efficient. (just a thought)

i've had underdrive pullies in three cars i've owned and yes there is a small increase in power, but when you underdrive your accessories you run into issues. in my situation my battery volts go easy when i turn on my fans or electric fuel pump. i personally wouldn't pull then in my car cause i think my battery would drain. maybe not, but it's just something to think about. especially if you are into load stereo systems.
