Door panel painting, need some help...

Hey all

Im in the progress of painting my door panels, how do you paint the area that you rest your arm on like this, shown in the picture on this link, theres fabric there, how is his soo smooth......looks like plastic...

He pulled the fabric off and fiberglassed.

ahhhh i don't know how to fiberglass....ill just stick to coating the facbric with red fabric paint..
