Hi everyone and thanks for taking a look. I picked my self up my first car finally and its a 91 5.0 Mustang. And the only thing I dont like is the auto trany... If anyone can help me with this, any advise or suggestion will be greatly appreciated. I want the 3 speed auto out and a 5 speed stick in.
How difficult will it be to find all the parts and do the work necessary to convert this to a well working street car?

Need a new pedal assembly with a clutch pedal plus the clutch switch and wiring that connects to the pedal. Tells the car the clutch pedal is pressed tdown and can start. Pressure plate, throw out bearing, clutch plate, and slave cylinder if you go with a hydraulic clutch. Then if you do you will need the resevior for the clutch fluid, and lines plus the special tool for the line.
Now if you go with a manual cable clutch, you will need the cables and engaging forks for the clutch. Not sure if you will need to change the wiring for the speedometer cable and neutral safety switch.
You will need to do some research to see what Tranny you want to go in it. C4, c5 or whatever and then you will need to see out to install it correctly and if your rear is compatible. Good luck because that is all I can think of.
