Question: If you get new rims, how do you calibrate the speedometer? Thinking of a nice pair of 17's to fill out the wheel well :D

Your Speedo will have to be calibrated Via the ODB port/PCM.
Most wheel shops can do this, if not question why ;) and find another place

:uhoh: unless your oredring them on the internet, then just find a shoppe' that can change this. Pretty easy.

Hey man,

Most of the wheels that fit Grand Ams end up being the same diameter as the stocks just with a different tire size. What I'm getting to is that you will most likely have no need to recalibrate the speedo.

Yea I know what you are saying boug0752.

The total tire hight on your OEM tires would be the same as a bigger rim with a low profile tire, same total hight.

When you get up to 18" and bigger then thats where you would need a recalibration.

I know with my 18's I'm only about a mph or two off.

Yea 1-2 mph isnt bad, but some places that'll still get you pulled over
