I'm trying to figure out why the oil gauge increases when I accelerate.
also when it's idle the whole truck shakes...we've just had a major tune up done to fix the shaking but now it's back. any suggestions?

Welcome to AF.
It is normal operation for oil pressure to increase with RMP increases.
What is your reading?
On the tune up take it back and ask them to lick there calf over.
Any good reputable repair shop will want you to bring it back and let them check there work over if there is a problem.
As to the major tune up what all did they do or what did you ask them to do?
