Just curious

Has anyone heard of the 5.4L engine blowing up at around 80,000 miles? Guy at work said his did and he had to spend 6 grand for a new motor. Is this common of just a fluke mines a 03 expy 5.4L

anythings possable! mine has 155k on it and runs like a champ, alot depends on the type of maint. that's done too

never seen one just blow up - have changes a few due to dtupid people doing stupid things to em - - but that happens to ALL engines - all the triton engines have been very good to ford owners
