my 93 gmc suburban has had a coolant leak for a couple months where i have to fill up the radiator every couple days. It drips down the lower radiator hose. For the life of me i cannot find what is leaking, I pulled the lower hose off and it seemed fine so i put it back on and made sure the hoseclamps where tight- still leaking, i dont see the waterpump gasket leaking...I just dont know- My plan was to just replace the water pump, lower hose, and thermostat, and hopefully that will fix it- any ideas?

I had a similar problem with my 96 burban, it turned out that one of the rear heater lines had a small hole in it due to the cat rubbing on it. The lines run down the right frame rail, my hole was right next to the passenger front door. I dont know if the 93 has rear heat but if it does take a look at those lines.

There a weep hole on the bottom of the water pump near where the fan connects to the water pump. If there is any moisture on this hole, the seal is leaking and the water pump needs to be replaced.

I find it easier to use a small mirror to see the hole.
