1998 Grand Am Jerks and Jumps idles rough at red lights HELP!

I have a Grand Am 4 Liter Automatic Transmission 140,000 miles. It acts like it wants to stall at red lights. Jerks and jumps like it wants to stall. When i am out on the hightway it seems fine and does not do this. What could be wrong?

Welcome to AF.
Does it quit if you put in neutral when coming to a stop ??
If so then it's probly your torqu converter lock up solenoid going south.
