I've never heard of any suspension problems. What generation were you thinking about buying?

The suspension problems on a lude deal with those that have been lowered. There are a few threads on ludes that deal with suspension and all of the issues that come up. Non lowered ones seem to have a solid record, but the older it is the more worn out the part.

Its kind'a a stats thing.
10 out of 10 people will eventually die, and 10 out of 8 parts will eventually fail. Hm, never was good at fractions.

I've NEVER heard of any suspension problems on stcok suspension Ludes. If you get $10 eBay coilovers, what do you expect? I moderate 2 Prelude fourms and am VERY active on about 4 more and I've never read any problems from stock suspension. If you have lowering springs and stock shocks, you'll have problems but otherwise, the Prelude was made to be a well handling car. Only thing to look out for on Ludes is rust around the rear 1/4 panels and on 92-96 Ludes, the sunroof tends to rust underneath. PM me and I'll get you a pic of mine.

My 4th gen lude is lowered 1 1/2" on Koni Yellow shocks and I've had no problems. Well, a slight problem with negative camber on the front end, but not it's too bad, and a camber kit will fix it perfectly. It's one of the best handling cars I've driven.
