hi here's my WIPs right now, and i have created a separate thread for this.
i bought the ae86 for a dollar at a hobby store, unfortunately it doent have a rear hatch glass, so im gonna fabricate one from acrylic sheet. this is also the first time i did custom work for front bumper and spoiler.

the story:
anyways, the build had taken a turn. originally it will be a black body/ red bumpers-trimmings paint scheme, but my editor (i work at a car online magazine) saw this ae86, asked if i could somehow paint it in our magazine's battle colors. so it will be blue with red and white trims.
oh, the plan is to build the ae86 as a budget daily driver/weekend drifter/racer. so expect to see some scratches and zip ties

this model will be on display for our magazine's street party next month, so most of my builds are halted.

rear spoiler all smoothened up.muffler i will be using. yes th muffler is dirty, and has a lot of scratches. i'm going for the used kinda battered look of a battle car.

Twin Hachis are lookin' good, nice work on the front bumpers & hood vent. U gonna putty the edges of the rear spolier to 'merge' it into a singular piece with the rear hatch?

nah, the spoiler will not be merged with the hatch. it will have lxan windows. oh, BTW, the hachis are actually quadruplets. :D im gonna build them in different styles. :D:D

Nice to see you working on the AE86! The interior looks really good, a harcdore race car! You have to tell me where you got the seatbelts from, or did you make them on your own? Anyway it looks good! Defenetily want to see more. :grinyes: The FC3S looks really good to! looks like the one from Inital D

i made the seatbelts from vynil sticker and some metal tape. i dont have any access to PE parts so custom fabrication is the way to go.

to everyone else, ok, i'll get clearer pics. most of my collection consists diecast and assorted scale cars

disaster struck the FC3S......\

the black paitn for the window trims reacted with the clear i was using, totally messed the body. the car is now being stripped, i gutted the hood and transplated a hood vent from a JGTC R34 skyline. it now looks like a RE amemiya hood. :D:D:D

Whoa, that Evo is eye-popping! The RE-type hood on the RX-7 looks great! Really sorry to hear that the paintjob went bad. What types of black trim paint and clear were you using?

that FC3S is testing my patience. it just wont cooperate with me. so i'm just gonna
finish this body, and build it as it is now.. anyways, i headed back to the shop last
night and got another FC3S kit for 3USD. i'm going to this over again. i'm not giving
up on my white FC3S. :D:D:D
so here she is now. a blue FC, mismatched wheels, and some bumper tap scratches. im
going to build this one as a typical JDM drift car, scratches and all.

we'll just have to wait for the ressurection of the white FC sometime soon.
and update on my ae86 levin. just got it painted with a layer of blue also.another coat
and i'm fine. just have to fabricate lexan windows. :D:D

I dig the FC's mismatch wheels, but I think I would strip the paint off the front wheels and paint them either silver or black.

a R32 skyline pickup. my cars need a service truck anyway, and i dont have a truck kit, so i made one. :D:D:D. only, i dont have a front bumper for this skyline yet. i seem to have lost the bumper and the dash.:(:(:(:( anyways anyone want to donate a bumper? ill just tint the windows for this build.

update on my levin:
nearing completion. i know the way i painted the front corner lens is wrong, and is not really how the levin lights are, but i like it this way, orange all around. :D:D
the color scheme is blue, with dark blue bumpers, spoiler, skirts and side mouldings.

Whoa, good job on the color combo! The only thing I'd add is a black door pull. The drop is just right, in my opinion.

i got them from a fujimi group a mitsubishi starion kit. on the fujimi catalog its listed as 15" enkei tarmac wheels and is already discontinued. its avery rare set, so if you find a set, grab it. :D best chance is for me to rummage around in the kit sale we have here for another set:

where the heck did you get that 345 tunning kit! I have two of the them but in the super aero version, i never seen that kit anywhere not even in japan! And what type of putty are you useing???

i got it in a kit sale here locally. just 3USD. its an old kit actually, and the store is having an inventory sale. all 345 tuning cars are priced 3USD. also got a S12 silvia 345 tuning. :D:D :D:D
actually im using epoxy putty. i like to use it. when its not yet cured, i can still shape it a bit.:D:D
