Ignition Coils?

It has been 9 years since I had any trouble with an ignition coil, so maybe my mind is a bit rusty. Anyway, one should not hear liquid sloshing around when they shake an ignition coil, should they?

Usually there should be no sloshing. Ignition coils should be sealed and filled to the top with oil/fluid.
If you hear sloshing, it may mean the coil is no longer sealed and fluid has been leaking out. The loss of enough fluid will eventually lead to an overheated and non - functional coil.

Thanks for your input. Makes sense!

The coil is about 23 years old. I hope that is the no start problem i have been having.
