2000 Intrigue with 3.5L (not sure if engine matters)
Anyway, my wife came home today and said the radio now stays on after turning the car off and opening the doors. It use to turn off as soon as you opened the doors. The radio will turn off with the power button (thank goodness). Any ideas as to why this feature is not working?

Almost sounds to me like an ignition switch issue, any other strange issues, or issues at all for that matter?
Heres a weird question, when you turn the ignition to the "OFF" position, does the red light on the "P" of the PRND321 on the dash stay on?

The issue sounds a like problem with retained accessory power (RAP). RAP will shut off the radio and other accessories like the power windows when you open any door with the radio left on or after a 10 minute delay if you or any passengers do not exit the car. The retained accessory relay is most likely staying energized which will keep the radio on.
The same door sensors at the door latch are used for the interior courtesy lighting so if that is working when you open and close a door then the problem is most likely related to the body control module (BCM) or the retained accessory power relay.

Well fellas, just an update. Everything is working as it should. Guess the little gremlins inside fixed it for me.
Also, Littlehov, the red light on the "P" does go off when the ignition if turned off.
Thanks for the help.
