can anyone explain how to replace the fuel pump? i need details because i have to try to tell everyone else in my class how to do it and have them understand what im talking about...

Easy, remove your back seat. Remove the philips screws from the plate in the middle. Disconnect hoses and wires, and remove the bolts. Remove the fuel pump and insert new fuel pump.

There isn't anything to them, just need to pop your back seat out, which if I remember correctly, there is a little black clip on the back part of the seats at the hinges you need to pop out to remove those. Then a couple bolts to get the bottom off. Rest of it is straight forward.

Unfortunately, you have to do it from under the car...meaning, the gas tank needs to go down to properly replace your fuel pump.

You sure? I thought they had a cheater plate under the rear seat? I know my race car does, and I thought the 4th gens did as well. Not all fuel pumps require dropping the tank

Yeah man, after disconnecting all the hoses and wires, you need to undo the two straps holding on the tank and drop it. Some only drop it halfway and can have enough clearance to get to the pump. Also make sure to drain the tank of gas.

Yep, CRX fuel tanks have to drop out in order to change the pump, oh and the fuel pipes LOVE to rust to the point that they LOVE to break.
GOOD LUCK
