Dunno but most ebay sellers seem to be based in HK - so maybe email them :D ;)

Have fun and happy "hunting"

Hi,

You can go to Mongkok (Kowloon). There are lots of model shops. You can take MTR to Mongkok station and go to exit E, but i am not sure about the street names.

Good luck:grinyes:

if you wander around the streets (centred around Dundas Street) around kwong wah hospital (it's the biggest thing signposted in the area and the easiest thing to ask for) you will come across lots of small model car and r/c car shops.
If you see goldfish and/or trainers/sneakers; you'll be in the right area.

Chain store: UML (http://www.universal-models.com/)

do a search in the car modelling forum for "hong kong" and you'll bring up more info.

Thanks for the guidence guys greatly appreciated. Im actuly staying in langham hotel which is already in MK so it shouldnt be to hard to find my way to these shops.

Ive got afew more questions, what are the average prices for 1/24 car kits, PE parts, accessories and tools such as airbrush, compressors and sticky tape. Are they expensive or cheap enough to get them all? :P

hi there, I was actually in hongkong a few weeks back. For tamiya and hasegawa car kits, UML is definitely the place to go. Their fujimi kit tends to be a little pricey (around HKD110-180) but they do have a good collection. There is a good store inside the Yan Onbuilding along kwong wah street as well.

Looking in the map and you can find Langham hotel is near the MK station and you can refer those annotation and most of the shops are near where you are staying.

Hope you enjoy your stay in HK!!
