Oil Pressure Sender

I have a 97 Lesabre and the oil pressure has been reading lower and lower. The car runs great and has about 175,000 miles on it. I am thinking it may just be a defective oil pressure sender. Can anyone tell me where the oil pressure sender is located? Thanks.

Thanks. I'll take a look at it next time I change the oil.

Just replaced my oil press sender; it read erratically high. Take off rt front wheel, sender lies horizontal in back of oil filter adaptor, with connector keyway down. Remove back rubber inside dirt shield, remove (2) plastic clips on front plastic dirt shield so it can be bent out of the way. You can get at sender from under the car to loosen and from wheelwell to take out and replace and reconnect cable.

Unit cost about $24. Seems to be steady oil pressure now. The job took about 45 minutes (I'm slow).

Regards,
Jack C.
